He has testified before the United States Congress on communications policy and broadcast regulation. He also provided specialized expert testimony in litigation that culminated in a landmark United States Supreme Court decision involving federal must-carry requirements affecting cable television systems.
His experience also includes fifteen years as a director of a seven-station television broadcasting group representing the Detroit Police & Fire Retirement System, service as FCC license trustee for a major-market Chicago FM radio station, and recognition as an engineer before the Federal Communications Commission.
